Sam McQueeney joined Circa Morris Nunn in 2016. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2014.
While studying Sam gained valuable experience as a tutor in Design Communication, participated in exchange to Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Krakow Poland, and was awarded a Summer Research Scholarship in post-war multi-residential housing in Hobart Tasmania.
Prior to joining Circa, Sam has had roles in two Tasmanian Architecture practices and worked on a range of projects of different scales and typologies; including residential, commercial and educational projects.
Outside the office Sam is a passionate contributor to the Australian Institute of Architects, serving as the Chair of Emerging Architects and Graduates Network (EmAGN) Tasmania since 2014, a member of the National Committee for Gender Equity, and EmAGN representative on the Tasmanian Chapter Council.
